How to preserve a common wheel alignment machine

Maintenance of the wheel aligner is very important to ensure that it works accurately and efficiently for a long time. Here are some of the main maintenance considerations:

Regular calibration: The wheel aligner needs to be calibrated regularly to ensure the accuracy of the measurement. Refer to the equipment manufacturer's recommendations, usually every few months or before important use.

Clean maintenance: Keep the instrument clean, especially the sensors and measuring tools. Use a soft cloth and appropriate cleaning agents to avoid damaging the equipment.

Proper storage: When not in use, store the instrument in a dry, temperature-friendly environment, away from direct sunlight and high temperatures to prevent damage.

Power management: Check the Power regularly and replace the battery(If you are applying CCD wheel aligner, whose sensor have batteries) when necessary. Make sure to use the original charger when charging the device, and pay attention to prevent cable wear. And always shut down PC before you cut off power.  Power off withour PC shut down may cause permanent harm to PC.

Software updates: If the device supports software updates, be sure to check and install the latest software version regularly to get the best performance and the latest features.

Check parts: Regularly check all connectors and mechanical parts of the instrument to ensure that there are no loose or damaged parts.

Use training: Make sure the operator has received professional training and understands the correct way to use and maintain the equipment to avoid damage caused by improper operation.

Record maintenance history: Keep maintenance records, including calibration, cleaning, repairs, etc., to help track the status of the equipment and facilitate future maintenance.
